More criticism for President Trump, this time from a Florida Congresswoman over comments he made towards the widow of fallen soldier.

Frederica Wilson said the president called Myeshia Johnson as she traveled to the airport to meet the body of Johnson's husband, Sergeant La David Johnson.

The democratic lawmaker said while she didn't hear the whole conversation, she did hear him tell the widow on speakerphone that her husband "knew what he signed up for".

"He never said the word 'hero'...How insensitive can you be?," said Frederica Wilson. "My heart aches for the family of the young wife. She's with a child"

Sergeant Johnson was one of four servicemen killed in an ambush earlier this month in Niger.

The White House did not immediately respond to the president's alleged comments, but he tweeted this morning that Wilson's description of the call was fabricated.

Trump was criticized for not immediately reaching out to relatives of the four slain soliders.

He said he wrote them letters during a press conference Monday, where he also accused some former presidents for failing to reach out to family members of the dead.
