TWC NEWS VIDEO:  LAKEWOOD, NY -- The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame honored 11 new inductees Monday night in Lakewood. The 2017 class included both men and women who not only excelled in their sports, but also contributed to them throughout their lives.  A wide range of standouts from bow hunting to basketball will forever be a part of Chautauqua County sports history.

"It's amazing, it's something that I never thought about, God set forth for me to have this so that's why I'm here," said Maceo Wofford, 2017 CSHOF Inductee - Basketball.

"I've gotten more out of sports and dealing with people than I've ever put into it and just to be honored for something you've gotten so much out of, it just blows me away," said Paul Cooley, 2017 CSHOF Inductee - Coach/Referee.

The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame now has a total of 183 inductees.

2017 Inductees - Paul Cooley, Jake Ensign, Charlie LaDuca, Sammy LaMancuso, Deb Palmer, Bob Patterson, Dave Polechetti, Sam Restivo, Michael Sayers, Maceo Wofford and Fancis "Doc" Malinoski (posthumous).
