BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man is charged with robbing a Kmart in West Seneca and a bank in Buffalo.

The first incident happened November 18 at the Kmart on Orchard Park Road.

West Seneca police say Paul Kowalski took a candy bar to the check-out, waved a knife at the cashier and demanded cash.

Kowalski is also accused of robbing an M&T Bank branch on Dorrance Avenue in South Buffalo on November 29.

He's charged with robbery and grand larceny.

Kowalski was arraigned and waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

The case will now be presented to a Grand Jury.
