Alleviating food insecurity in New York public schools is a top priority for the No Student Goes Hungry program. It is a school nutrition initiative that expands access to free breakfast and farm-fresh foods for grades kindergarten through high school.

Targeting those lacking meal money in attempt to eliminate embarrassment over not having enough, or anything at all, to eat in front of one's peers. The program was awarded $1.5 million to build up the Farm-to-School program, which works to partner schools with products from local farmers.
