Tre'Davious White is out of the concussion protocol and finally able to talk about Rob Gronkowski's cheap shot on him at the end of the Bills-Patriots game Sunday.

White walked off the field with his bell rung and bloodied, but feared the worst as he lay on the ground afterward.

"I'm glad I had my mouthpiece in. I probably could have bit my tongue off. I bit my lip pretty bad, terrible headache, it is what it is. He did what he wanted to do,” said White.

Gronkowski received a one-game suspension for the hit after not being ejected from the game. Head coach Sean McDermott wouldn't comment on the punishment, but White would.

“It's a joke. I don't know what to say on that. I'm laying there, he snuck on me, my back turned. He could have broken my neck. I mean, I have a son to raise, all that. People don't think about that when they just react. But that's here or there. It is what it is," said White.

Gronkowski apologized through reporters after the game Sunday, but White said he had not heard from him personally.

“Nothing,” said White. “I don't want to hear anything from him."
