Continued Colder Than Average
Dry For A While
A mostly clear sky and brisk breezes stick with us overnight with lows dropping into the teens in the immediate Capital District and some single digits in colder spots. Northerly breezes stick around for Sunday, although not as strong as Saturday, it will feel colder outside than it actually is. Temperatures are running several degrees below average, only in the 30s when we should be reaching the middle 40s for this time of the year. Sun and a few clouds move in for Sunday with dry and cold conditions. We chill down into the teens Sunday night with continued dry weather into Monday when high again reach the low to mid 30s.
We're still monitoring the forecast for maybe more than one low pressure system moving off the mid Atlantic coast between Tuesday and Thursday. Computer guidance at this point keeps precipitation to our south with some clouds affecting us. Stay tuned. We'll let you know if there are any changes that would indicate snow extending inland to our area.
