Snow Winds Down

Drying Out & Warming Up

Snow this morning will make for slick, hazardous travel conditions. Look for snow to end before midday across the Catskills and by the early afternoon around the Hudson Valley. Travel conditions should improve by the evening commute, but some residual snow/slush should be expected. The combination of high pressure building to our south, clearing skies and a fresh snow-pack will send temperatures down into the low to mid teens tonight. Tomorrow will feature a blend of clouds and sun with highs in the low 30s. About the same is expected Friday, but with highs in the mid/upper 30s. At this point the weekend is still looking dry and seasonably mild with highs in the 40s.
