Jackson Wang is a videojournalist for Spectrum News in the Capital Region. You can catch Jackson Tuesday through Saturday evenings, and on Monday Motivation. 

Prior to Spectrum News in Albany, Jackson worked as a videojournalist in the Hudson Valley. That's where Jackson was awarded the 2015 First Place Associated Press Award for Best Spot News Coverage, 2015 Special Mention Associated Press Award for Enterprise Story, and 2016 Third Place Associated Press Award for Best Feature Story.

Jackson has also worked as a news assistant for Spectrum News and as a producer for WNYT, an NBC affiliate in Albany. He also spent time as a freelance sports writer for The Troy Record, AAC Contributing Writer for Football.com, an Upstate NY Correspondent for Stadium Journey and a SEEN Gallery photographer for the Times Union.

Jackson graduated from The College of Saint Rose in May 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He's currently pursuing a master's degree in communication studies at West Virginia University. Outside of work, Jackson enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, volunteering, and trying new food.
