Barry Wygel is thrilled to once again be reporting in the area he calls home. He has been with the station since 2012 and has covered many parts of New York State.
Barry is a graduate of Shenendehowa and SUNY Oswego with a degree in broadcast journalism.
During Barry's time with Spectrum News he has reported on a multitude of stories and was nominated for an Emmy for his work covering the anniversary of Tropical Storm Irene. In 2017, Spectrum News launched "Wygel at Work" where Barry tries his hand at a new profession each and every week.
Barry lives near Saratoga Lake with his wife Carolyn and his pet chickens.
