Troopers in Dutchess County responded to a crash involving a school bus Tuesday morning.

Route 44 near Timothy Heights Road was temporarily shut down after investigators say a tractor-trailer rear ended a van that was stopped for a bus.

The impact caused the van to spin into the bus.

Three Arlington middle school students and the woman driving the van were sent to the hospital. There is no word on their condition.

Authorities say the bus's lights and signs were on at the time of the crash.
