The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life is returning to the Hudson Valley Saturday as Kingston residents prepare to host their annual fundraiser.
Relay for Life is one of the organization's biggest fundraising events each year and is designed to raise awareness to cancer research and honor the lives of those who have died to the illness.
People from communities across the Hudson Valley are expected to participate in today's event, which will take place at Kingston's Dietz Stadium.
Additional Relay for Life events are scheduled for other communities in the region later this month and in June.
