Sixteen people arrested in the 'Operation Yellow Brick Road' drug trafficking ring will now be sentenced for their charges.

The members of the ring that sold heroin and cocaine across Orange County are all pleading guilty. Their charges include conspiring to purchase and sell heroin and cocaine, as well as purchasing, possessing and selling illegal firearms.

As a result of their pleas, sentences range from six months to 18 years in state prison for the most serious offenders.

The major drug bust was part of a 10-month-long investigation. The 16 defendants were arrested in February and were discovered with heroin and cocaine in bulk, as well as large amounts of methamphetamine, marijuana, firearms and cash.
