NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- With a travel ban for tractor trailers in place on highways, including Interstate 84 from the Pennsylvania to Connecticut state lines, truck drivers are left waiting until the storm subsides.

"We're just going to lay low until everything is clear and then we keep doing what we're doing. If the truck doesn't move, we don't make money, the company doesn't make money, nobody does," said Jhonny Valladares, a driver.

The governor has said state police are authorized to arrest truckers who flaunt the ban, saying that during last week's snow, three trucks overturned on the Tappan Zee Bridge alone.
