Casey Affleck has withdrawn from presenting at this year's Academy Awards ceremony.

Last year, he won Best Actor for his role in, "Manchester by the Sea."

It is usually tradition for Best Actor winners to present the award for Best Actress the following year.

This is in light of the “Me Too” movement and the resurfacing of two lawsuits that he settled in 2010 with women who accused him of sexual harassment.

Officials from the Academy Awards said they appreciate Affleck's decision, allowing the attention to stay on the show and nominees.

In response to the decision Oscar Producers are considering changing up who is selected to present awards.
