The folks at Resorts World Catskills are counting down to opening day, and they're still looking to fill some key hotel, food and beverage roles ahead of their February launch.

Representatives from the resort came down to Orange County for a job fair Wednesday in Middletown, and despite the cold and snow, job seekers still came out to try their luck. Vice President for Human Resources Fran Kneisc says the casino is looking to fill a couple hundred more jobs, but is optimistic about the hiring process so far.

Kneisc also says employees are now in the building completing orientation and training, getting ready to welcome the public in time for Lunar New Year in mid-February.

For those waiting to check out the new facility, opening day is just three weeks away on February 8. Another job fair will be held on Jan. 24 at the Courtyard by Marriott, 24 Crystal Run Crossing in Middletown.
