KINGSTON, N.Y. -- An abandoned house has caught fire for the second time this year.

Firefighters arrived to the building on Ten Broeck Avenue to find a pile of debris in the first floor on fire. Officials say it's too early to determine a cause for the fire or if it's connected to the previous incident in October. Crews were able to extinguish the fire in about 10 minutes, and the house sustained only minor damage.

The assistant chief is asking neighbors to keep an eye out for possible squatters in the area.
