GUILDERLAND, N.Y. -- A Connecticut man is facing sexual assault charges following an incident at the Days Inn in Guilderland.

Christopher Green, 31, was arraigned Thursday night in Guilderland Town Court. He's been charged with second degree rape, second degree criminal sex act and endangering the welfare of a child. Green pleaded not guilty to all charges.

According to police, he was arrested Thursday morning. Police say they had received a complaint of an incident involving an individual under the age of 15 at the Days Inn. Following an investigation, police charged Green with rape.

Prosecutors say Green is from Hartford, Conn. They say he is in the area for construction work and has no ties to the Capital Region. Police would not provide any more details, but say the investigation is ongoing.

The judge remanded Green to the Albany County Jail without bail. An order of protection was also issued. Green is due back in court Monday at 4 p.m.
