KINGSTON, N.Y. -- Members of the community packed a Kingston Police Commission meeting Wednesday, following a video that went viral after resurfacing about a week ago. It's of a man being put in a choke hold by a Kingston police officer in 2015.

The meeting, which is usually held at the police station every third Wednesday, was moved to City Hall due to public interest in the issue.

The commission discussed three complaints, including one by Fabian Marshall, the man in the video.

At the meeting people spoke out about what they said is police brutality and called for a change in the process of holding officers accountable.

The commission then discussed the matters behind closed doors during executive session. Fabian and his family members were part of some of the executive session discussions.

Another complainant, Adrin Broadhead, was also at the meeting. He said he was thrown to the ground and 'tased' several times by an officer in July. He also discussed the matter during executive session.
