A man is dead, and another was grazed by a bullet, in an early-morning shooting Saturday on Staten Island, the city police department said.

It happened around 4:28 a.m. on Van Pelt Ave. near Linden Ave. in Mariner's Harbor.

Investigators said two men were shot following a dispute.

Police said a 28-year-old was shot multiple times in the torso and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.  A bullet grazed a 30-year-old man in the head, but he is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
