SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: An organization in Middletown is working to make sure people have the information they need to help save their pet’s life in an emergency.

The no-kill animal rescue, Pets Alive, hosted a dog and cat first aid and CPR certificate training session. There people learned how to perform CPR and how to help administer first aid in the event of a number of scenarios including bleeding, burns, hypothermia and more.

The class was taught by an instructor from pet CPR certification company, Pet Emergency Education.
