NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Habitat For Humanity of Greater Newburgh will renovate two homes in the city and turn them into safe, readymade homes for families they say are hardworking, but may not be able to get a mortgage easily.

Volunteers will be using wood milled from last year's Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, which came from Oneonta.

The recipients will own these homes, have to take financial coaching classes, and volunteer with Habitat For Humanity before they find out they will get the homes.
