NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Habitat Newburgh is breaking ground on four new homes. They'll make up Faith Builds Two.

The build is sponsored by faith coalitions that partner with Habitat Newburgh.

Habitat Newburgh's Executive Director says it's a special time to honor the support from the faith based community.

So far they've sponsored 27 of the 79 completed homes.

"When I see volunteers from throughout so many different faith communities that come and put their faith into action by helping to build, by donating, by sending out prayers, doing whatever they can so that the work that we do in this city of Newburgh is able to really thrive,” said Cathy Collins, executive director Habitat For Humanity of Greater Newburgh.

Construction of the homes is expected to cost about $800,000.
