SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Panthers ended their season in style Sunday — as state champions.

Quarterback Jack Howe rushed for three touchdowns, and Pleasantville took the Class B championship with a 28-14 win over the Chenango Forks Blue Devils.

Forks running back Jeremiah Allen racked up two touchdowns, but it just wasn't enough for the Blue Devils, who were in pursuit of their fourth state title in five years.

This is the first state title in school history for Pleasantville.
