Police have arrested a suspect in a fatal shooting in Poughkeepsie.

Rajeam Jackson, 25, now faces a second-degree murder charge for the shooting of an 18-year-old man.

Police say that man was taken to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital early Monday morning after being found shot in the head in front of 400 Main Street.

He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

His identity has not been released.

This is the latest in a wave of shootings in Poughkeepsie.
