A home on Mansion Street in Poughkeepsie again caught fire even though it was locked up by the building inspector after a fire last Saturday, when 21 people were displaced.

The fire chief says a pile of clothes on the second floor were found burning Thursday morning, when firefighters arrived. He says the front door and inside apartment door were open, even though they were locked last week.

The fire chief says the building was not certified for occupation, even before these fires. He says the owner had just gotten a permit on Wednesday to begin fixing the home.
