POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — The Dutchess County SPCA is continuing to ask for the public's help after a dog had to be put down due to severe abuse.

According to the SPCA, the dog was found Monday at King Street Park in Poughkeepsie under a tree and wrapped in plastic and a blanket.

A passerby found the dog and rushed it to the vet, but it still had to be euthanized.

The SPCA is asking for anyone with information or anyone who recognizes this dog to give them a call at 845-204-9598.
