PORT JERVIS, N.Y. — The man who police say led them on a car chase after robbing a bank in Port Jervis was arraigned Friday morning.

Joseph Hernandez, 35, is facing a slew of charges, including 3rd degree robbery and stolen property.

Port Jervis Police say Hernandez robbed TD bank on East Main Street around 4:45 p.m. Thursday. After, Hernandez led police on a chase until he was later taken into custody.

According to police he has had two prior felonies, six prior misdemeanors, and has had probation revoked four times.

The judge entered a not guilty plea until the next court date which is scheduled for next Wednesday.

Hernandez was remanded at Orange County Jail with no bail.
