The man accused of killing his houseguest with a knife back in April has been arraigned on murder charges.

According to the Orange County District Attorney's office, 43-year-old Christopher Smith was arraigned on numerous charges Monday, including murder, manslaughter, criminal possession of a weapon and concealment of a human corpse. The charges stem from accusations Smith stabbed and killed the man at a Newburgh apartment, burned his body, and then lied to police.
