Democrats won control of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, including flipping some seats in New York, but most Republican incumbents in the state managed to hold on.

That includes Republican John Katko in the 24th district in Central New York.

But as he returns to Washington for a third term, he'll be in the minority for the first time.
