As we continue talking about the issue of gun violence, the issue of mental health - particularly flagging those who might be a danger to themselves and others - figures prominently in the conversation. Here in New York, a state lawmaker has introduced a bill that would make it easier for mental health professionals to report patients they deem to be a possible threat. And it would prevent them from facing criminal or civil liability for breaking patient confidentiality. Joining us from Middletown to talk more about his legislation is state Senator David Carlucci.
