Mental health advocates want the state to put more resources into supportive housing, which provides services as well as a home. There are currently 40,000 mental health housing units in the state, with plans for thousands more. But the coalition behind the "Bring It Home" campaign says that the system faces big financial challenges. And destabilizing the system would have serious consequences for the people in it.
