HUDSON, N.Y. -- The man accused of shooting and killing a 19-year-old Sunday night in Hudson was apprehended and arraigned Monday.

Mohammad Morshed, 27, was charged with second degree murder in the shooting death of 19-year-old Inderly InStinfil. No bail was set Monday in Hudson City Court.

Police say InStinfil was shot in the neck Sunday night in a house on Fairview Avenue. He took a taxi to nearby Columbia Memorial Hospital, where he later died.

Morshed was located Monday morning, nearly an hour away in Kingston. He was apprehended by a group of officers, according to Hudson Police Chief Edward Moore.

 

 

Morshed's next court appearance is scheduled for June 26. The investigation of the shooting continues on Fairview Avenue. Anyone who may have information about the case should call Hudson Police at 518-828-3388.
