KINGSTON, N.Y. — "Black Panther" debuts Friday night nationwide and is is being shown as part of Kingston's "Black History month Movie Takeover."

Organizers say they're celebrating the movie because it's one of the first majority African and African-American cast hero movies in Marvel history.

The showing is taking place at 7 p.m. at the Regal Hudson Valley Mall Theater on Ulster Avenue.

Organizers say tickets must be purchased in advance at the theater or online.
