A $36.5 million renovation project has been approved by Skaneateles voters.

The school district will now upgrade the middle and high schools. The buildings are attached and are between 50 and 60 years old.

Administrators say there's a laundry list of work that needs to be done. Officials will also replace the turf field, the middle school gym and locker rooms.

The project will not require any additional taxes to support it.
