SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Peace Council members spent Saturday morning protesting the President and the recent United States airstrike on Syria.
One member believes the airstrike was just a show of force on the President's part. She says the airstrike is another example of President Trump's "impulsive-reactive behavior".
Members would like to help those in Syria by accepting their refugees instead of sending missiles.
"It looks like this was millions of dollars spent for a laser light show to prove that the President is strong and powerful, and yet probably accomplished nothing positive," protester Mara Sapon-Shevin said.
The Syracuse Peace Council was founded in 1936 and is an anti-war/social justice organization.
