ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Skies will be mainly clear overnight into early Saturday morning. It will be another chilly morning with lows in the 40s for most areas, with some upper 30s in parts of Citrus and Hernando county.

  • Clear skies overnight
  • Chilly morning with lows in the 40s
  • Saturday to see highs in the low to mid-70s

After the chilly start, Saturday will be a gorgeous day with highs in the low to mid-70s.

Skies will be mostly sunny with a gentle breeze.

Saturday night will be mostly clear and cool, but not as cool as it has been. Lows will be in the 50s, with upper 40s in northern counties.

Sunday will feature some high clouds passing overhead, but no rain.

Expect a warmer afternoon with highs back to near our average in the upper 70s.

Monday into Tuesday will feature a lot of clouds, but little to almost no chance of rain as the drier air will still dominate.

Highs will be in the upper 70s both days with lows in the 50s and to low 60s.

Wednesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s.

Thursday will feature increasing clouds with a chance for some scattered showers moving in late.

The details are still in question since that’s far away but it appears there will be a slug of moisture that moves in from the Gulf, either Thursday night or during the day Friday.

Either way, be on the lookout for a chance of showers late week, and possibly some thunderstorms.

Highs will remain in the mid to upper 70s those days.
