A Utica man has died after crashing into a tree this past weekend.

Jacob Perkins, 26, was taken to an area hospital after crashing at the intersection of Culver Avenue and Armory Drive early Saturday morning.

Perkins died Tuesday. 

The crash is still under investigation.
