North Syracuse Central district Superintendent, Annette Speach, announceed plans to retire at the end of the school year.

She announced the decision during her Superintendent’s Conference Day address, Tuesday. She's been in the role since 2013.

The Board of Education will meet in the coming weeks to discuss the search for new leadership. Speach says she is looking forward to her last year with the district.

Her retirement is effective June 30, 2019.
