A case of vandalism is sparking concerns in Binghamton. Swastikas were found near the high school.

investigators are looking into surveillance footage from buildings nearby, hoping to find the person or people responsible.

Multiple Nazi markings were painted with white paint around the high school.

There was one on the street on Oak Street, another on the sidewalk just outside the high school, and one painted on a window of the high school.

Local leaders like mayor Rich David and County Executive Jason Garnar are speaking out, condeming the vandalism.

"It's absolutely disgusting, has no place in Broome county. Anyone who wants to do that kind of stuff, there's no place for you here in Broome County you should get out." said Broome County Executive Jason Garnar

As of now, the swastikas have been cleaned up and are no longer visible.

Police  say they will release information when they can - and we'll pass along any updates.
