The wait is over for Orange fans – Syracuse basketball returns to the Carrier Dome for the new season Tuesday.

The men enter the year as the 16th ranked team in the country and have some big expectations to live up to.

The team has all five starters from last year’s Sweet 16 team, including NBA prospects Tyus Battle and Oshae Brissett.

Tuesday night they'll be taking on the Eastern Washington Eagles at 7 p.m.

The women are also hitting the hardwood with high expectations Tuesday against North Dakota.

Ranked 18th this year, and coming off a lot of success in recent years, they welcome top recruit, Emily Engstler.
