Another lawsuit has been filed by the Theta Tau fraternity that was expelled from SU last spring.

A group of fraternity brothers produced controversial videos that were posted online. The behavior deemed racist and bigoted by the chancellor, sparked protests throughout the campus, and coverage nationwide.

The latest lawsuit filed in Jefferson County Court seeks to have the fraternity reinstated on campus. That's in addition to individual lawsuits filed by suspended members looking to return to the school.

Syracuse University officials sent a brief statement saying they stand by their actions and, "remain steadfast in our commitment to defending the standards of conduct on our campus.”
