A Binghamton sixth grader remains in critical condition he was hit by a vehicle Tuesday.
Police say 11-year-old Jariah Durgala was walking to school around 7 a.m. He was struck by an SUV while crossing at the State Route 7 and Frederick Street intersection.
The boy, a student in the Binghamton City School District, was transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital and later air lifted to a Syrtacuse hospital.
The investigation is ongoing, and no tickets have been issued at this time.
