Before the game there was a large show of Orange pride on the SU hill for homecoming weekend.

Orange Central started with a tailgate on the campus quad.

The marching band kept the crowd lively as guests mingled, ate food and played games.

It's a once-a-year celebration for students and alumni to connect on campus before the homecoming game.

This year routing against the North Carolina Tarheels.

Despite recent loses fans were optimistic before the game, predicting the win.

"We've got a great coach, we've got a great team I think things are going to turn around for this school," said Syracuse fan Jim Murray.

The festive weekend comes to a close with the annual Homecoming Court crowning on Sunday.
