A reckless driving charge against the man who admitted to causing a separate hit and run crash has officially been dropped.
Anthony Saccone was accused of getting behind the wheel of a car after drinking in the town of Salina back in July.
The arrest happened shortly before he pleaded guilty to a deadly crash in the town of Onondaga. Saccone admitted to causing the crash that killed three young people last February.
But when it comes to the reckless driving charge, prosecutors say they can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was driving.
Saccone still faces 10-to-30 years in prison when he's sentenced for aggravated vehicular homicide next month.
