There will be more of police prescence on Washington Street.

Every morning and afternoon, officers and the superintendent are outside monitoring vehicles and student foot traffic.

In addition to the patrols, three main cross walks have been added, specifically designated for students to cross Washington street entering the campus.

In a few weeks new flash beacons will be installed, which will help guide students when crossing.

Officers say all of these new initiatives are helping solve the pedestrian traffic problem in the area.
