The village located past the Midway near the Experience Stage will highlight the growing diverse Latino community in Central New York.

There will be vendors selling traditional Latino food including pasteles.

There will also be a reality TV meet-and-greet, dancing and Latino musical performers, including merengue singer Zaki Malave.

Organizer Elisa Morales says she wants to create fair memories for the younger Latino generation.

"Ever since I was a little girl I have been a huge fair fan, but people didn't eat empanadas, they didn't eat rice and beans. I didn't hear salsa music or Merengue anywhere so when I grew up I always knew I wanted something to do with the Fair," says Elisa Morales, NYS Fair Latino Village Superintendent.

The closing day will be Latino Family day on Sunday.
