ORISKANY, N.Y. -- Mohawk Valley small business owners got some national attention on Monday.

Rep. Claudia Tenney invited the head of the Small Business Administration, Linda McMahon, to a roundtable discussion.

They met at Fiber Instrument Sales in Oriskany.

Business owners praised the Trump administration's tax reform and the impact it's had.

They also brought up issues they would like to see addressed, like having more people trained for available jobs and reducing regulations.

"It's getting to a point where you have all these regulations, there's not enough people that can explain the regulation or help that business understand the regulation to invest in the growth," said Howard Potter, the owner of A&P Master Images.

"I didn't hear anything new relative to the benefits of tax cuts and regulatory rollback. Each business and each industry has its own particular aspects that it's benefitted by," said McMahon.

McMahon was also invited to visit a Chittenango business.
