Family and friends say their last goodbyes to an Oneida County teen who was killed last weekend.

18-year-old Connor Lynskey was hit by a car while walking back to his campsite following a concert at Darien Lake.

Lynskey was laid to rest in Holland Patent Thursday afternoon.

A steady stream of people could be seen going into St. Leo's and St. Ann's church.

Many shared stories of Connor being an athletic, kind friend, who was like a brother to so many.

Connor was pursuing a degree in medicine at Siena College, after growing up with a sister who dealt with medical issues and could not get the care she needed nearby.

"He could be somebody who people could trust in a small town like this. That you didn't have to worry about driving so far away to be able to get good care," said Josh Brunet, a life-long friend of Connor's.

Siena College will be holding a memorial service for Connor on what would have been his 19th birthday, on September 22nd.
