The 9th annual Gus Macker Basketball Tournament is in full swing at C.N.S High School.

The 3-on-3 tournament raises money for The CanTeen, a free after-school program for local teens.

Hundreds are participating. Teams are broken up by age and height.

Although it's fun for the whole family, organizers say the real draw is the cause.

"It will take your breath away to see the community come out and support something like this. It's a bunch of people playing basketball yes, but it's the community supporting an after school program and it's their way of showing the kids they care about what happens to them," says Toni-Lyn Brauchle, The Canteen Organizer.

In total, the tournament has raised more than $200,000 for the program.

The finals take place Sunday.
