The search for a man who allegedly violated his parole lead to a meth bust and evacuation.

It happened Monday in the city of Oneida, where police found 29-year-old Nicholas Salay inside an apartment on Stone Street.

While taking him into custody, officers noticed items consistent with the manufacturing of meth.

Investigators had the building evacuated as a precaution.

Salay faces multiple charges including possession of meth and meth manufacturing materials.
