Madison County's biggest event of the year is just a week away.

Setup is underway along Route 20 for Antique Week, which runs from August 13-19.

The event is the county's largest draw of the year as more than 50,000 visitors are expected to visit over the seven days.

More than 2,000 vendors will set up in 14 fields, in a three-mile area in Madison and Bouckville.

"Out of 14 independent show fields, 12 of those are sold out for space. And I imagine by the time next week rolls around, the last-minute guys that come in will take the rest of the space. So, we're going to be pretty much sold out for vendor space," said Madison Bouckville Promotions President John Mancino.

County tourism officials say visitor spending increased by 12 percent in 2017, thanks mainly in part to Antique Week.
